Creative team and release

Directed by John Carney from a script he co-wrote with Peter McDonald, who also appears in the movie, Power Ballad features Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor. The film premiered May 19 in New York and opens in theaters June 5.

What's next for both

Jonas recently appeared in You're Cordially Invited and A Very Jonas Christmas Movie and is set for Camp Rock 3 and Jumanji: Open World later this year. Rudd, fresh from 2025's Anaconda, has Rain Reign and Avengers: Doomsday coming up.
