Rogan, once credited with helping Trump attract younger voters after endorsing him in 2024, has noticeably distanced himself. He told listeners many supporters feel "betrayed," noting Trump ran on "no more wars" and that the current approach contradicts that promise.
Despite the rift, Rogan recently appeared at the White House when Trump signed an executive order on psychedelic treatments. He said he sent Trump information beforehand and recalled the president’s cheeky praise: "We all respect Joe. He's a little bit more liberal than...that's okay." Rogan has also called himself "politically homeless" and criticized segments of the MAGA base as unappealing to him.
