A Little Backstory

Malaak noted how astonished she was by her daughter's academic work. Rock, 61, and Malaak first met in 1994, married in 1996, separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016. They share daughters Zahra and Lola Simon, 23; Malaak is also mother to Ntombi, whom she adopted from South Africa.
