On May 18 WHO Director‑General Dr. Tedros shared a photo of the duchess in the same lilac dress, saying he presented her with a WHO field vest in recognition of her health advocacy. Meghan wore the look for a May 17 meeting with Brazil’s Health Minister Alexandre Padilha to discuss efforts to combat online violence toward children.
Also on May 17 Meghan attended the installation of the Lost Screen Memorial at Place des Nations, a project by Archewell Philanthropies and The Parents’ Network. The display of 50 illuminated lightboxes honors children lost to online harm; Meghan urged action and accountability during the presentation, joined by Dr. Tedros, global health leaders and families. The 79th World Health Assembly ran May 18–23 and the memorial remained on display through May 22.
